The workshops on offer:

Eat or be Eaten!

Predators and prey – learn about the relationships between predators and prey amongst different types of animals you can see at Tropical World and in Roundhay Park.

The Native Woodland

Rainforest Comparison – children develop their knowledge and experience of native woodlands and compare them to rainforest habitats.

Through this workshop children learn about habitats, adaptation and the differences between the animal habitats in Tropical World versus those in Roundhay Park.

They involve exploration and examination of the wildlife and habitats of Roundhay Park and are designed to complement your self-led tour around Tropical World. We recommend booking a morning tour around Tropical World with an afternoon workshop, or vice versa. All equipment is provided.

Workshops are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 21st February to 20th Oct 2017. They are extremely popular, so make sure you book early.
